{"product_id":"tank-guard-silver-back-by-machina-for-bmw-f-900-gs","title":"Upper Tank Guard for BMW F850 GS \/ F750 GS","description":"The Machina upper tank guard for the BMW F850 GS and F750 GS is a carbon steel protection plate with a glass-beaded and electroplated finish, engineered to shield your tank from knee abrasion, jacket zip scratches, and luggage strap contact during adventure and touring rides. Available in silver and black.\n\n\nDOES THIS FIT BOTH THE F850 GS AND F750 GS?\n\nYes. This tank guard fits both the BMW F850 GS and F750 GS. Both models share the same frame geometry in the tank mounting area, making this a direct fit for both bikes with no modification required.\n\n\nWHAT IS THE FINISH?\n\nGlass-beaded and electroplated. The glass beading creates a fine dotted texture that closely matches the factory surface finish of BMW Motorrad accessories. The electroplating adds corrosion resistance suited to Indian humidity, rain, and road conditions.\n\n\nDOES IT MATCH BMW FACTORY ACCESSORIES?\n\nYes. The glass-beaded surface texture and electroplated finish are specifically chosen to match the aesthetic of genuine BMW Motorrad accessories — giving the F850 GS and F750 GS a cohesive, factory-fitted look.\n\n\nHOW DOES IT MOUNT?\n\nFits directly onto existing bolts on the F850 GS and F750 GS frame — no drilling, no new holes, no permanent modification. All mounting hardware is included. Installation takes approximately 20 minutes using standard spanners and allen keys.\n\n\nIS THIS SUITABLE FOR THE BMW F850 GS ADVENTURE?\n\nNo. This tank guard is designed for the F850 GS and F750 GS standard models. The F850 GS Adventure has a different frame geometry and requires a separate fitting.\n\n\nBIKE COMPATIBILITY\n\nFits the BMW F850 GS and F750 GS (2018 onwards). Does not fit the F850 GS Adventure, which has a different frame.","brand":"MACHINA","offers":[{"title":"Silver","offer_id":44666404798655,"sku":null,"price":18999.0,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Black","offer_id":44666404831423,"sku":null,"price":18999.0,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0695\/2986\/2335\/files\/BMW_f900_GS_tank_guard.png?v=1780720539","url":"https:\/\/motomachina.co.uk\/products\/tank-guard-silver-back-by-machina-for-bmw-f-900-gs","provider":"MACHINA","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
